Default FS: 2007 5.3L Engine

I have a 5.3L engine out of a 2007 Tahoe. It had 60K miles when removed. I did an AFM delete. Displacement on Demand/Active Fuel Management, now has "normal" camshaft, lifters and valley plate.

I used the engine for mock up in my '67 Camaro and for some book pictures to show an economical "LS Swap" and now that my LS2 build is complete, I do not require the 5.3L engine anymore.

This being a 2007 model utilizes a the newer 58x crankshaft and 4x camshaft signal, you can't use just any old engine harness on it, must be GenIV compatible or utilized with a Lingenfelter 58x Conversion box if slapped in an LS1 F-body or something. With the engine will come the Tahoe engine wiring harness that can be modified to be stand-alone for a swap and any bits and pieces that came off the original engine, such as the complete intake manifold/TB assembly, motor mounts, exhaust manifolds, truck oil pan, and maybe more. I am moving soon and don't want to haul the engine around. $600 takes it off my hands, or will possibly trade for other things.


*Note: Does not have the "LS6" heads or coil packs.

trade for some neon signs one corona and one miller both work and are worth 2 to 300 each

I picked up a 93 Toyota 4x4 pickup and that would be a nice power plant for it

Yea I'm in Houston. 5.3L is gone, but you'll prob see it in something up there someday.
